A visit
The collections, enriched by a number of loans from institutions and private individuals, cover the period from 1870 to the present day and a geographical area mainly centered on Western Europe.
The collection at the Musée d'Art moderne et contemporain de Strasbourg is divided into three sections (Plastic arts, Graphic arts and Photography) with an exhibition space of some 41,000 sq. ft., together with 10,000 sq. ft. for temporary exhibitions.
Two collections were integrated into the Musée d'Art moderne et contemporain when it first opened: Graphic arts and photography.
