The Dallas Museum of Art's (DMA) encyclopedic collections include more than 23,000 works of art, spanning 5,000 years and representing all time periods and cultures. The collections are presented in spacious galleries on four floors of the Museum's 370,000-square-foot building, designed by Edward Larrabee Barnes. The Museum's growing collections are the foundation for a broad range of special exhibitions organized by the DMA -- from nationally traveling shows such as Thomas Struth and Henry Moore: Sculpting the 20th Century to focused exhibitions such as the recent Dialogues: Duchamp, Cornell, Johns, Rauschenberg and the upcoming Van Gogh's Sheaves of Wheat.
